Connecting to the Slainte Wireless Network

How do I connect to the Slainte WiFi Zone (HotSpot)? You need to have the following:

• On a windows computer there will be a small icon, usually in the lower right. It may look like a tiny computer screen. When you are connected it will turn green, and when you are not connected it will be red. If you move your mouse over the icon, and click, you will see the wireless networks that are available.
• We have two wireless access points that you can connect to:  1)  "NETGEAR" (This will provide the fastest connection since the access point is downstairs), or 2) "slainte" (This connection will be slower as the access point is upstairs)
  
• Use your mouse and choose “NETGEAR” and click on it.  If you don't see "NETGEAR" then look for "slainte"
  
• Be patient, it may take a minute or two to connect.
• Once you are connected, you can launch your web browser,. e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, etc.
• If this is your first time to use the Slainte HotSpot, you will be asked to register. Click on the link to register/sign up. You will need to choose a password.
• After you have registered you can sign in with your email address and password.
